What Tips or Local Knowledge Would You Provide To Help Them Score Better At Your Course? Relax and have fun, that's what always helps you score better!
What Is The Signature, Most Talked About, or Most Photographed Hole? While Oak Glen does not have a signature hole, #10 and #16 on the Championship Course are the most talked about. Both holes have Brown's Creek running through them and the DNR did a nice renovation of the Creek in 2012. The renovation was done for the trout population but it enhanced the beauty of both holes. It was truly a win-win project!
What Is Your Favorite Hole? Any Tips to Play It? My favorite hole is #3 on the Championship Course. The hole says 140 on the card from the back tees but with green that is 40 yards deep it can stretch to 160 to hole location. The green has an hourglass design creating a very inviting front hole location making you think about a 1 or a 2! Middle hole locations are protected by bunkers flanking the narrowest part of the green. Pins cut all the way back not only bring longer clubs into play but miss the green a little long and you will find yourself going down a large hill out-of-bounds. This hole truly brings all numbers into play as it is our most aced par 3 but you are more likely to walk away with a 5 and scratching your head if you get too aggressive.
