| Review Summary:
The course is a narrow fairway, tree lined course that is a shot-makers
haven. Don't bring your "C" game here. Very demanding greens. I enjoyed
the challenge. The wind blows all the time, so keep that in mind. If you
don't like wind, stay away. The course is bunkered
fairly, but again you are penalized here for not hitting fairways and
greens in regulation. Club selection is very important as well. You'll
need a full bag of clubs to weave you way around this course. Strategy and
course management are key to scoring on this track. I shot an 86 the first
time I played it and shot an 80 the 2nd time. I will go back again!!!! |
| Conditions:
The fairways and greens were in excellent condition and the greens were
especially fast; they dry out even faster as the winds blow. Fastest
greens I played on all year. Windy always!!!! Not many straight putts on
these greens. |
| Scenery: The scenery
wasn't the best, but I wasn't there for that, so if you're looking for a
pretty, eye-catching course, this isn't it, but I do look for that in
courses at times. |
| Layout: This
generally a shorter layout, with a few Par 5's, but again the narrow
fairways on most holes with lots of tree trouble can make for a long day
at the office if you're not hitting it straight. Short/Long accurate
players would love this course and probably score well here |
| Services:
The staff was great and very helpful in negotiating the course with
information about the lay-out, etc. It was put to good use. Very
knowledgeable staff and quick to lend a hand. |
