| Review Summary:
A well manicured course. Not a lot of variety in the holes, but an
enjoyable experience. Generous fairways. Greens ran true. Don't need to
have your best game to put together a good score here. |
| Conditions:
No complaints here. Nice and green
when I played it. Greens were medium in speed. Fairways were in great
shape and closely cut. |
| Scenery:
Amid a
housing development (Wedgewood, which is what this course apparently used
to be called.) Woodbury seems to have a few courses like this tucked into
developments. They have flower beds and an impressive looking clubhouse to
add to the visual appeal here at Prestwick, unlike some of the others. |
| Layout: Fairways
are pretty generous. Fairly short course and lots of dog legs to snake it
through the housing developments. One thing I like is that you never have
to guess where you want to hit it. One complaint is that 2 tee boxes back
up to very noisy, busy roads. |
| Services:
I played here on a Wednesday, and can't recall seeing a beverage cart. I
was treated to my round by a vendor, so I did not deal with the pro shop. |
