Review Summary:  27 holes: Championship 18 and executive 9 Outstanding bar/clubhouse/pro shop The best resort course outside of Brainerd, for a lot less money, and overall better experience. Compares to the Classic at Maddens.
Conditions: 2014 conditions have been outstanding. Greens are spotless with no winter burn. Tee boxes are back up to snuff. Sand is phenomenal and consistent (if you are unlucky enough to go in it). Fairways/rough are very good, some casual water after the torrential rains we have had.
Scenery: Carved out of mature woods, with some holes hosting residential housing/lots. On 6/29/2014 two deer watched me tee off from the 2nd hole, didn't seem bothered by me.
Layout: Depending on what tees you use, this can be/is a tough course, blacks are 7200 yds! Some holes require a long carry, some make you hit a spot, sometimes you need a draw, sometimes a cut....it is a really neat course.
Services: They have a new pro, and he is very customer oriented. The bar is really nice, with a good selection of craft beer. Food is OK, but limited to burger/sandwich's. A fair selection of clothing and shoes in case you forget something.

Review Summary:  I had played the back 9 several times since it was the only 9 completed. Now that all 18 are open, I really like the course. I was in decent shape and each hole is a little different.
Conditions:  Greens and fairways were in pretty good shape and the back 9 was in a lot better shape compaired to last year.
Scenery: Pretty good. Still hate houses on a golf course, but overall not bad. It's interesting to see how they completely redid it and is really different than Savanna used to be.
Layout: I like it!
Services: Service was top notch! The bartender Erin was absolutely fantastic! Drinks were fast and strong, just like I like 'em!
