| Review Summary:
Southern Minnesota boasts a large handful of 9 hole courses and this one
may provide a stiffer challenge than most. Smaller greens, abundant
trees, hilly terrain, and fast greens make this course play difficult at
times. Par is 37 but if you do not bring your "A" game, you could easily
find yourself in the 50's. You must have your creative juices flowing
when you play as you will definitely need to be creative with at least 3
or 4 shots per round. |
| Conditions:
Very, very green course. Everything seems to be kept
up with for the most part. |
| Scenery:
When you are playing in a small rural farming community,
scenery is going to be scarce. With that said, I would never recommend a
course like this for its scenery, but on occasion it does offer some
nice views looking back towards the city of Jackson which is located
along the Des Moines river valley. |
| Layout: This
course is a 9 hole course with 2 extra holes for practice. As mentioned
before, par is 37 with six par fours, two par fives, and one par three.
There are a handful of blind shots you will have to navigate yourself
through. |
| Services:
The service is very good and friendly! |

| Review Summary:
Great little 9 hole run. Well kept, by a tremendous superintendent! The
great thing about this golf course is that the greens fees don't set you
back a chunk of change. |
| Conditions:
Lots of trees and hills, that make for some very difficult shots. |
| Layout: Lots
of small greens that have some very difficult pin placements. |

| Review Summary:
Very nice 9-hole course. Many blind landing areas for tee shots. You
don't feel completely safe about your tee shot until you actually get up
and see it. |
| Conditions:
Course was in good shape. Greens rolled nicely.
Fairways were not cut short enough, however. |
| Senery:
Nice scenery. Course was designed in a hilly basin and the elevation
changes make it unique. |
| Layout: Many
elevation changes, combined with small greens. |
| Services:
Service was fine. |
