Hole 2, 417 yard par 4. Wide sweeping dogleg right tee shot
with a downhill approach to a narrow well protected green. Par
is a wonderful finish to this hole. |
| Pay Attention To
The G.P.S.: Hole 3, 348
yard par 4. This hole can be visually deceptive. Water creeps
in from the left and trees are on the right. G.P.S. helps to
decide to lay up or carry the water. |
| Best Chance for
Birdie:
Hole 1, 346 yard par 4. Elevated tees give you a clear view of
the hole. 3 wood off the tee will set up an easy approach to a
flat green. |
| Honest Par 3:
Hole 9, 107 yard downhill par three. Legacy clubhouse in the
background gives a scenic backdrop. Water on three sides of
the green gives caution. Pay attention to the wind!! |
| Honest Par 5:
Hole 8, 543 yard par 5. Uphill tee shot to wide fairway. Lay
up into prevailing wind to a large landing area. Third shot is
to an elevated green fronted by a stream and waterfall. Only
reachable in two if your name is Tiger or Daly. |
| Risk/Reward:
Hole 4, 297 yard par 4. This hole is reachable for long
hitters but beware of wetlands off the tee and numerous deep
bunkers along entire left side of the hole. |

Birdie: Hole 12, 476 yard par
5. Huge landing area off the tee. Easy lay up or short second
shot to this large green. Take advantage of this easy hole
before you head around Lake Legacy. |
| Tough Par:
Hole 14, 440 yard par 4. Open view to this dogleg right
alongside Lake Legacy. Once in the fairway you have a slight
uphill shot to a long narrow green. Do not go left or right on
you approach to the green! |
| Pay Attention To
The G.P.S.: Hole 11, 126 yard
par three. Watch your distance carefully on this short par
three. Prevailing wind is behind and the green is 45 yards
deep with a large hump in the middle. With your eyes the pin
placements are deceiving. |
| Best Par 3:
Hole 15, 227 yard par three. Long hole with a huge green. Your
miss should be short as there is fairway from tee to green. |
| Honest Par 5:
Hole 10, 516 yard par 5. Uphill tee shot. Lay up to the left
for a short downhill approach to a long narrow green protected
by water in front and bunkers in back. |
| Risk/Reward:
Hole 17, 355 yard par 4. Dramatically elevated tee shot over
south end of Lake Legacy. Safe play is to large fairway
straight away. Risky play is to drive right towards the green. |
