Review Summary: I think Rose Lake is a good test of golf, making you hit some good iron shots. The service and club house are above average. I will definitely go back.
Conditions: The greens were in good shape when I played, but they could have been cut shorter. The same goes for the fairways. The course can play both good and evil. I have shot in the low 70s there, as well as high 80s.
Scenery: The front is pretty boring, but the back nine is carved in swampland and offers some good scenery. Holes 11 through 16 have some awesome views.
Layout: Probably one of the most fun layouts in the area. Each hole has a different feel to it. The approach on number 12 will challenge anyone's distance control.
