The Legends Course Reviews

Review Summary: One of the best public courses in the metro area.
Conditions: Usually excellent conditions from tee to green. Last two years have been challenging for all local courses but it has held up well with very good putting surfaces.
Scenery: Great variety from tree lined to open. Nice lakes and ponds and wildlife as well.
Layout: Best feature is that no two holes run parallel, almost no other holes can be seen from the hole you are playing giving this the rare feeling of total privacy on each hole. Short drivable Par 4's to 600 yard Par 5 and everything in between.
Services: Great service, food and staff.

Review Summary: Nice course but I would say it's overrated. Worth playing once but nothing stood out to make it worth the higher greens fees.
Conditions: Very good conditions. Greens were fast and true and the rough was manageable.
Scenery: Good scenery with only a few houses in view.
Layout: The layout wasn't as good as it could have been. No really standout holes and I left the course wondering why it has been talked about so highly. If you are hitting your driver well this course is a walk in the park. The par 5's and par 3's are pretty simple and there were only one or two holes that were somewhat challenging, if even that.
Services: Great service. For once there was a nice starter!
