Gopher Hills Course Reviews

Review Summary: Love the difference between the front 9 and the back 9. It's like playing two different courses. The front nine is links with rolling hills and if you get off the fairway the long grass will eat you up and the back nine is wooded with lots of shots with trees lining the fairway.
Conditions: Conditions were very good, but the greens could be a little faster.
Scenery: If you like the country scenery you will love this course, it is very quite.
Layout: The layout is nice with lots of elevation changes / good challenge.
Services: Service was good AND if you want some good food after golf, it's all there.

Review Summary: Course in good condition, fun course to play. Needs to be marked much better, gps would be great to have there. Does have some fun holes, others it seems like the designer was bored.
Conditions: Conditions were excellent, fairways are easy to hit off of. Greens are true but could be faster.
Scenery: Back 9 is much better, front is links golf. Change in elevation is a challenge.
Layout: Fairways narrow at the ideal yardages to make it a challenge. Needs a few more risk/reward holes.
Services: Seemed like newer staff. Certainly left a lot to be desired. The feel in the clubhouse-bar-restaurant just didn't project a professional setting. I've been there twice now.
